TRANSPUPILLARY THERMOTHERAPY FOR LARGE-SIZED SUBFOVEAL CIRCUMSCRIBED CHOROIDAL HEMANGIOMA

Circumscribed choroidal hemangioma (CCH), an uncommon benign vascular choroidal tumor, can affect vision in several ways, including secondary serous retinal detachment involving the.fovea, cystoid mac-ular edema, subretinal fibrosis, subfoveal location, and neovascular glaucoma. Recently, the role of transpupillary thermotherapy (TTT) for localized choroidal hemangioma has been evaluated. We describe the efficacy of TTT for a large-sized subfoveal choroidal hemangioma, which to our knowledge has not been reported previously.
