摘要

There has been much interest in UV-curable nanocomposites in recent years. Clays, such as montmorillonite (MMT), can be organically modified with. surfactant-type materials which aid the miscibility between the silicate layers and the polymer matrix. Surfactants containing reactive groups (ie reactive C+C bonds) or photoinitiator moieties have been synthesised and intercalated into the clay galleries. The authors review some of the developments of organically modified clays.
