Fujifilm doubles the print area of the latest Acuity~(TM) UV inkjet printer

The new Acuity Advance X2 wide format printer is claimed to be capable of printing onto substrates of 3.05m x 2.5m as thick as 48mm. It is said to produce the same printing quality as produced from the current smaller Acuity Advance printers. The dual zoning system with independent vacuum control allows the printing of an image in one zone while setting up another image in the second. In production mode, the print speed is said to be up to 22m~2/hr (237ft~2/hr), while in high-quality mode the speed is 15m~2/hr (161 ft~2/hr).
