NASA's composite crew module undergoes vacuum testing

ENGINEERS AT NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, have been testing a Composite Crew Module (CCM) in a vacuum chamber to find out how well the composite structure reacts in a simulated space environment. Data gained during these tests will aid in the design of future composite space structures.
