China imported 15,343 tonnes of fatty alcohols in July 2014, down from 18,956 in the previous month and 41.5% down from the same month a year earlier, trade data showed. This brought total shipments in the first seven months of 2014 to 149,707 tonnes, up 11.5% y/y.
