Measuring mammography patient satisfaction.

摘要

This study identified how the mammography industry addresses patient needs and satisfaction through consumer satisfaction mechanisms. Survey results from 500 randomly selected mammography facilities show that more than 50% of the facilities make an effort to address patient satisfaction. Results highlight the need for institutions to critically review reliability and validity criteria of satisfaction instruments, thus enabling valuable organizational change.
