Pathway to publication: Meet the editorial review board

Radiologic Technology's Editorial Review Board (ERB) is a group of no fewer than 11 members, including a chairman and a vice chairman, that evaluates and approves peer-reviewed articles submitted for publication in the Journal. The mission of the ERB is to promote and support scholarly inquiry and dissemination of information that contributes to the body of knowledge in medical imaging. ERB members have previous experience in scholarly publishing and represent the various specialties within the radiologic sciences. The duty of the ERB is to encourage new research and review manuscripts that contribute to the Journal's overall mission. Manuscripts are reviewed according to strict standards by at least 2 ERB members using a double-blind peer-review process. ERB members complete a one-year training period at the beginning of their first term. Upon satisfactory completion of the initial training period, members serve 2 additional years as committee members.
