Complete Extrusion Cooling Systems

Turla s.r.l. of Brescia, Italy offers complete cooling systems that are able to guarantee an optimal treatment to every kind of profile despite its section and alloy. Turla cooling equipment is mainly divided into three families: intensive quench, centralized air upper cooling, and centralized air lower cooling. An intensive quench can be performed properly with both water and air. Air version: For the air version the hood structure is integrated with individually controlled air channels that feed the air nozzles positioned around the profile to be cooled. Through a PLC and dedicated frequency inverters that control the speed of the fan motor for each cooling channel it is possible to regulate each channel independently from 0-100 percent, so that cooling can be varied according to the need of the profile. Settings are created for each profile to optimize cooling and maximize extrusion speed. All parameters can be recorded, modified, and stored in a central control unit and be recalled as required.
