Sockets pressed in place as steel wire rope terminators

In the field of rope technology we distinguish between rope terminators which are permanently attached and those which can be detached, as shown in Figure 1. The sockets which are pressed in place, with their slender profiles and many attachment options, are being used ever more frequently in elevator engineering.
