Since the end of 2002, the refinements and enhancements to ExtSTAR have allowed EAC to reduce the number of personnel involved in order entry, planning, scheduling, production tracking and reporting, invoicing and related clerical activities from four to three, even as their production volume increased by 70 percent during the same period. In addition to managing production and sales information, the program's reporting and analysis features have continually provided EAC's management with a clear picture of their operation at both general and detailed levels.
