Whitehall began light production in early 2002 and expects to be in full production by late summer. The company purchases billet from Alcan in 6063, 6005, and 6061 alloys. They are currently producing extrusions up to 24 feet in length within an 8 inch diameter. Through reverse integration, Whitehall has taken a leap forward with its first press line. By building on the plant's past success due to a dedicated workforce and attention to detail for customer satisfaction, Whitehall hopes to continue to provide enhanced quality while at the same time diversify into new market areas. Ken Rocco explains his vision of the future, "We believe we understand the benchmark levels for achieving extruded pounds per hour and we anticipate setting new production standards to raise the bar on current industry levels."
