Gas Natural, a Barcelona-based natural gas and power company, plans to import between 1.5 billion and 2 billion cubic meters annually from a new LNG terminal at Sabine Pass, Louisiana, to be built from 2012. Houston-based Cheniere announced in late November that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Gas Natural regarding the proposal.
