The FERC application was made in September. Neither Golden Pass nor the US Coast Guard would confirm the exact arrival date of the carrier, citing security issues. Golden Pass LNG is a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum (70%), Exxon Mobil (17.6%) and ConocoPhillips (12.4%). The Al Khuwair is a Q-Flex class carrier that can hold 210,000 cubic meters of LNG and on Thursday was reported to be sailing near Gibraltar.
