Taiwanese stocks rise

Taiwan's private-sector LPG stocks at the end of January increased by 2.4pc from a year earlier to 119,445t - but were lower than December's 135,770t. Although demand outstripped supply during January, high stocks at the end of December-helped maintain the year-on-year increase.LPG demand for January totalled 225,523t, down by 4.2pc from a year ago. Consumption fell by 7.7pc to 189,499t from a year earlier, while exports rose by 20.2pc to 36,024.
