Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical is expected to increase its use of LPG as a petrochemical feedstock by 50pc from the current 100,000 t/month-by the start of 2010. The non state-owned refiner and petrochemical company is building two refrigerated tanks of 50,000t each for propane and butane. When completed in early 2010, Formosa will more than double its present 80,000t storage capacity.
