Gowan new GM for Moore-Clark in Vancouver

MOORE-CLARK recently announced the appointment of Ron Gowan as the company's new General Manager in Vancouver, formerly the General Manager of BC-based Paradise Bay Sea-farms, Gowan is well acquainted with the salmon farming industry. He graduated with a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from the School of Fisheries at the University of Washington in Seattle, financing his graduate education through commercial salmon fishing and seafood brokering. His background includes working as a research biologist for the National Marine Fisheries Service from 1975 to 1978 and as a research and teaching assistant for the Fisheries and Quantitative Science School of Fisheries at the University of Washington from 1978 to 1983.
