摘要

In the last decade, the technology for building long-span suspension and cable-stayed bridge has been remarkably developed. For instance the length of main span of Akashi Raikyo Bridge were near 2kms and Normandy Bridge and Tatara Bridge havesurpassed the record of the main span length in the cable-stayed bridge. In this paper, the technology for building these long-span bridges completed in the last decade are reviewed and the outline of technical subjects as to realize the ultra-super-longbridges with main span length of over 2kms under planning in Japan are introduced.
