This paper considers the achievements of Pulsed Photothermal Radiometry (PPTR) in the investigation of physical properties of biological materials and the diagnostics of the interaction of laser radiation with biological materials. We separate the main directions of modern studies and present the results of experimental and theoretical investigations. A detailed chronological list of references on the development of biomedical PPTR technologies is presented for the first time. [References: 34]
