摘要

The progression of protein microarrays has given researchers a promising method to interrogate proteinprotein interactions,molecular expression profiles,and protein function.Microfabrication of protein microarrays on planar surfaces has been accomplished by a plethora of chemical modification strategies that range in diversity and complexity.However,concerns still remain regarding protein denaturation upon immobilization,the stringency of cross-linking conditions,and the hydration state of the protein when immobilized on a planar surface.
