Wiltshire dairy farmer Simon Martin views investment in new technology vital for the future of his family farm, now in its fourth generation, but only if it can be guaranteed to make a return. Simon Martin runs one of the largest dairy operations in Wiltshire and Hampshire, an area of mainly arable and beef farming. The Martin family have been farming at Nunton, a small village south of Salisbury since 1929 when John Martin established the farm with 29 cattle.
