Oxford scientists have developed a new design of accessory surface coil for MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging),which can significantly improve the quality of images of the deep lying organs.A surface coil,or detector coil,is applied directly to the body in high resolution MRI and is often a single loop of metal.
