Florensis held a couple of open days at its Dutch headquarters at the end of June. Anisa Gress went along to find out varieties it has lined up for the future. Although the World Cup, golden jubilee and the wet weather may have put the lid on the bedding plant sales for this summer, growers have not been defeated and are already looking forward to how they can make improvements for next, year. A visit to the Dutch headquarters of young plant supplier Florensis at the end of June offered ideas from its selection of new varieties including a bright, orange anagallis which will offer a completely different colour dimension for hanging baskets.
