Chronic health: if not us then who? A review of an exhibition exploring the assistive, speculative, provocative and challenging role of design for health - Embassy of Health, Dutch Design Week

Overall, Chronic health: If not us then who? was challenging, intriguing and informative. The large industrial space, so typical of buildings in Eindhoven, meant that the objects and installations were allocated the space needed to provide context to the projects and showcase the important design work being carried out in the area of design for health. This expansive space was also needed to cater for the many visitors and large groups attending DDW2018 and The Embassy of Health. The exhibition delivers on what it set out to do; to provoke, question and prompt thinking and discussion about legacy approaches to health, speculative possibilities and how design and designers, working in transdisciplinary ways, can bring the future of health closer to the now.
