Lumber, OSB markets mixed, says Crow's

US softwood lumber prices managed to move "modestly higher" through June while panel prices gained "little traction," according to Crow's Weekly Market Report recently. Despite slower production and shipments in recent weeks, demand for lumber remains strong nationally. As drier weather patterns return "demand for lumber in the three major producing regions will continue to move higher" over the second half, according to RISI economists.
