AOPL Reports Continued Increase in Pipeline Volume

Pipelines continue to account for more and more of the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products in the United States. In its annual report, the Association of Oil Pipe Lines (AOPL) shows shifts in petroleum transportation from 1990 through 2008, where pipeline volumes increased 5.3 percent from 2007 to 2008.
