摘要

Dust deposition near ventilation outlets mainly consists of organic particles that (stem from the room. The particles are shaped elliptically and aerodynamically behave like spheres with a diameter of 1 to 30μm. Numerical simulation of the airflow combined with experiments allow a scrutiny of the process and facilitate the search for countermeasures. It shows that particle deposition is mainly affected by turbulence.
