One of the most efficient trends of improving mining and metallurgical production at MMC Norilsk Nickel is modernization of the technological process of concentration ensuring production of high-quality concentrates, which leads to a substantial cost saving at subsequent metallurgical process stages. The task of copper-nickel production at Kola MMC consisted in increasing Ni (?_(Ni)) content in the concentrate from 8 to 12-15%, reducing the mass fraction of MgO from 11-14 to 5-6%.
