Mass-Spectrometric (with Induction Plasma) Determination of Platinum Metals and Gold in Copper-Nickel Ores and Products of Ore Processing with Preliminary Assay Concentration into Nickel Matte

摘要

A method of mass-spectrometric determination of all platinum metals and gold in sulfide copper-nickel ores and industrial products of Norilsk Mining Works is presented. Combination of mass-spectrometry and assay-chemical concentration into nickel matte ensures low detection limits and efficiency of nobble metal extraction. Moreover, simple spectra and small spectral effects in mass-spectrometry expedite the analysis of unknown products.
