Marine Biologists Urge Obama to Block Offshore Seismic Surveys

Twenty-eight of the nation's top experts on the North Atlantic right whale are asking President Obama to suspend all seismic oil and gas exploration surveys along the Atlantic Coast. Earlier this year the Obama administration withdrew plans to make available drilling leases from 2017-2021, however seismic surveys still could be allowed in coastal waters from Delaware to Florida.
