The Government and stakeholders increasingly see the national Standards and conformance infrastructure as fundamental to supporting the New Zea?land economy. This infrastructure is critical both to regulators, in supporting quality, performance-based regulatory regimes, and also to New Zealand industry in seeking to develop innovative products and gaining access to export markets.
