Approach to the patient with suspected radiculopathy

Radiculopathy is a common neurologic disorder. Electrodiagnosis can provide a physiologic assessment of the localization, degree of axon loss, severity, and chronicity of the intraspinal canal lesion, and distinguish it from other neuromuscular disorders. This article reviews electrodiagnostic aspects related to evaluating patients with suspected radiculopathies.
