Major CEC grant to ease transition to CNG, LNG, LPG vehicles

The California Energy Commission (CEC) awarded nine state transit agencies, municipalities, and school districts more than us800,000 in grants in order to help them phase out their petroleum-based fleets of buses and taxicabs and replace them with cleaner-burning compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicles and fueling centers.
