摘要

A novel 3-D network complex, Mn(pyc)4(μ2-SO4)·H2O (pyc = 4-carboxy-1-methylpyridinium), was synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction to have 1-D MnSO4 arrays linked to each other by π-π stacking interactions between pyridinium rings, where pyc comes from the manganese(II)-catalyzed in situ oxidative cleavage of the ligand 4-(1-hydroxy-3-oxo-3-phenylpropenyl)-1-methylpyridinium in the presence of molecular oxygen.
