The Influence of the Donor Atom on the Chemiluminescence of Eu(III) Ions in the System Eu(II)/(III)-Ligand-H_2O_2

The chemiluminescence (CL) of the system Eu(II)/(III)-L-H_2O_2(L=EGTA, NTA, TETA, K22DA, MA, DGA) has been studied. Kinetic curves of CL decay and CL spectral distributions were determined. Differences in CL intensity and the time of its duration allowed to draw conclusions on the influence of the donor atoms(N, O) on the intensity of the Eu(III) chemiluminescence.
