McMoRan Finds New Discovery Under Blueberry Hill in GOM

Like the legendary singer Fats Domino, McMoRan Exploration has found a thrill at Blueberry Hill - actually about 21,900 feet under it. It also lead a New York City company to speculate the prize under Blueberry Hill could reach 100 billion cubic feet equivalent. Located in 10 feet of water off the coast of Louisiana on State Lease 340, Blueberry Hill is the latest ultra-deep drilling project by New Orleans-based McMoRan. Last week the company said the exploratory gas well hit about 150 feet of gross pay.
