The idea of using compressed natural gas (CNG) or even LNG as a transportation fuel is no longer the stuff of think tanks and conferences, but it is an idea that is here to stay. One of the supporters of that theory is Steve Josephs, director of engineering at ampCNG. Josephs told Natural Gas Week that they have settled the question of what comes first—the vehicle or the infrastructure. "Our end-to-end services solve the chicken-or-egg problem— which comes first, the trucks or the stations," Josephs said. "We sell fuel, build stations, lease trucks and source renewable forms of natural gas."
