Enterprise and Teppco Merge in $3.3 Bin Deal, Form Pipeline Giant

US midstream energy company Enterprise Products Partners has struck a $3.3 billion all-stock deal to acquire oil pipeline and storage company Teppco Partners. The move expands Enterprise's asset base into refined petroleum products, and grants it access to the 4,700-mile Texas Eastern Products Pipeline that carries refined fuels from the Gulf Coast to markets in the Northeast.
