Struggling TransCanada May Slash Mainline Shipping Tolls

Canadian gas producers are intrigued by a plan by TransCanada to drastically reduce the tolls it charges for gas to be shipped on its venerable Mainline system from Western to Eastern Canada in a bid to compete with gas currently transported from prolific shale fields in the US Northeast to markets in Central Canada.
