Ontario has an ambitious plan to shut down its coal-fired plants. But that plan has morphed considerably since it began after Dalton McGuinty became premier of the province in 2003. The "just say no to coal" deadline keeps inching back, from 2007, to 2009 or 2010 — depending on which source you believe — and now, it may be 2014.
