Cape Wind's goal to be the first US offshore wind farm is two approvals away from becoming a reality. After the Federal Aviation Administration announced this month that it had finalized its approval of the project, Cape Wind now needs to be given the OK from the US Army Corps of Engineers and from the Massachusetts Department of Utilities before it can officially begin construction (NGW May.3,p13).
