Toxco, one of the world's leading battery recyclers, and W2 Energy, a developer of mass-to-energy technology, have formed a joint venture in which approximately 600 tons yearly of carbon cake and plastics generated in Toxco's battery recycling plant in British Columbia will be converted by W2 Energy into electricity and ultralow-sulfur diesel.
