Joint Venture Formed to Advance CNG's Role as Railroad Fuel

Some key milestones were reached this month as companies continue advancing the use of natural gas as a transportation fuel in the high-horsepower arena. Last week, Hexagon Lincoln entered into a joint venture agreement with Allegheny Creative Energy Solutions (ACES) and Resonance Mode to create a new entity to develop compressed natural gas (CNG) as a fuel for railroads. As the majority shareholder, Hexagon Lincoln's parent company, Hexagon Composites, will support the new entity in developing CNG-fuel solutions for the rail industry.
