North Dakota LNG Project Offers Flaring Reduction and Fuel Savings

A few more natural gas flares in North Dakota will soon be extinguished as North Dakota LNG (NDLNG) installs the first liquefied natural gas production unit in the state at Tioga. The initial 10,000 gallon per day facility will go into service during the summer using a unit acquired from another company, Chief Executive Patrick Hughes told Natural Gas Week. This will be followed by a purpose-built, 66,000 gallon per day plant by the end of the year. Cost of the project was not disclosed.
