Enterprise Products Partners is moving ahead with plans to build a fully refrigerated, 240,000 barrels per day ethane export facility at a site to be determined on the Texas Gulf Coast that will send a portion of surplus natural gas liquids (NGLs) to international markets. When operations begin in the third quarter of 2016, it will be the largest in both the US and the world, significantly ahead of the terminal now under construction by Sunoco Logistics at Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania (NGW Dec.30'13).
