The suggested methods of treatment of cast titanium alloys VT20L, VT23L, and Ti-6242 based on various combinations of HSGT, THT, and heat treatment provide a fundamental transformation of the cast structure and raise the density of the alloys. The combination of HSGT and THT increases the strength properties (by 10-20 percent) and especially the fatigue characteristics (by a factor of 1.5-2) of the studied alloys relative to the cast state at satisfactory ductility and impact toughness. Thus we can expect high service properties in shaped castings treated by the suggested methods.
