Driller Seeks to Book Out Rigs Declined by Rosneft

(EDC), Russia’s largest drilling services company, said it would increase its focus on horizontal drilling this year and that it planned to replace older rigs as part of its ongoing strategy. Executives also said they were in talks with oil companies to lease 14 rigs that Rosneft has turned down over a price dispute.
