Shareholders in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) have accelerated ef-forts to take a final investment decision (FID) on expanding the pipeline run-ning from the giant Chevron-operated Tengiz oil field in Kazakhstan to a ter-minal near the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
