International crude oil prices have fallen back over the past six days on renewed fears over European sover- eign debt, which could impact future energy demand. But geopolitical con- cerns in the Middle East did inspire something of a rally on Nov. 22, as vi- olence returned to Egypt, tensions continued to simmer over Syria, and the UK and Canada slapped new fi- nancial sanctions on Iran.
