摘要

The results of field experiments conducted on alluvial soils during 1994 -95 and 1995- 96 in farmers' fields of Kovur Sugar Factory area of Ncllore district, Andhra Pradesh revealed that sugarcane responds to organic manures when used in integration with inorganic fertilizers. Additional cane yields of 14-27 t ha~(-1) was realized with different organic manures + inorganic fertilizers over inorganic fertilizers alone. FYM in combination with inorganics followed by Press mud cake along with inorganicswere superior to other treatments in terms of cane yield. Press mud in combination with inorganics followed by poultry manure alongwith fertilizers were superior over other treatments in terms of sugar yield. Higher uptake of N, P, K, Ca and Mg were observed in poultry manure alongwith the fertilizer treated plots in both the plant and ratoon crops.
