New records of Xylariaceae of Sonora, Mexico.

Hypoxylon anthochroum, H. polyporum, Xylaria microceras, X. pallide-ostiolata and X. uniapiculata are reported for the first time from the Mexican state of Sonora. Descriptions of X. microceras and X. uniapiculata are enhanced by the communication of their cultural and anamorphic data. An artificial key to the known Sonoran Xylariaceae is provided.
